JASPER (TCJ) – One person was transported to the hospital and another is in custody after a shooting in Jasper Friday night.
The Jasper Police Department said on Facebook that they received an emergency call for “shots fired with a possible injury.”
When officers arrived on the scene, they immediately determined and quickly apprehended a suspect without incident.
The victim was transported to Brookwood Baptist Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
Officials say there is no danger to the community.
